2017 Fiorenza Cossotto International Voice Competition Rules
The Fiorenza Cossotto International Opera Competition is open to opera singers, 21-37 years of age as of July 24, 2017.
APPLICATION AND FIRST ROUND
You must complete the application fully and email it to email@example.com by July 1, 2017.
1st Round is via video submissions – please email a direct YouTube link or Upload via WeTransfer of ONE operatic aria.
Eligible singers will be notified of their acceptance to perform in the 2nd round via email by July 5th, 2017.
ENTRY FEE – 2nd ROUND ONLY
The competitors must have remit a fee of 50 (fifty) Euros if they are accepted to the next round in Bologna, Italy. This will be due in the form of cash.
We will provide an accompanist for a fee of 30 euro (or you can bring your own accompanist if you wish)
Failure to provide any of the required documentation – voids your application.

If selected for the 2nd round, Each competitor must prepare and present 4 (four) opera arias in contrasting styles. 2 arias must be in Italian
ONCE YOU SUBMIT YOUR REPERTOIRE, IT CANNOT BE CHANGED.
IF YOU ARE A WINNER, YOU MUST PERFORM AT THE WINNERS’ CONCERT (JULY 26) TO RECEIVE YOUR PRIZE
A panel of internationally-recognized opera professionals led by Fiorenza Cossotto will judge those invited to compete in Bologna
